Juan Carlos Roldao ha recibido la mención honorífica de doctorado 2021/2022 de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid en la categoría “Materia Condensada, Nanociencia y Biofísica”.

La tesis de Juan Carlos, “Quantum-Chemical Treatment of Photophysical Properties and Processes in Organic Compounds for Applications in Energy and Materials Conversion”, dirigida por el Prof. Johannes Gierschner (IMDEA Nanociencia) y por la Prof. Begoña Milián (Universidad de Valencia) y tutelada por el Prof. Rodolfo Miranda (IMDEA Nanociencia y UAM) fue defendida en junio de 2022 en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

En la actualidad, Juan Carlos Roldao es investigador postdoctoral en el Instituto de Ciencia Molecular (ICMol-Universidad de Valencia).
