    Duration: 2019 - 2022

NMAT2D is a consortium of researchers devised to make specific advances in 2D materials research in a concerted synergistic way. Our philosophy is to combine efforts to: i) understand the fundamental properties of two dimensional
materials (study and characterization of optical, transport and structural properties and theoretical modelling to explain them), and ii) analysis and development of novel applications and devices to transfer them to key industrial sectors, such as electronics, aeronautics or energy. As the complexity of the matter demands, the approach is multidisciplinary integrating experiments, theory and computation, materials science and condensed matters physics, electronics and aeronautics.
