lista stanford researchers

  • The latest ranking prepared by researchers at Stanford University lists the most cited researchers in the world.
  • This ranking reinforces IMDEA Nanociencia's reputation as a centre of excellence in research.
Instance:

Madrid, 8th October, 2024. Ten IMDEA Nanociencia researchers are included in the 'Stanford ranking': Francisco Guinea, Johannes Gierschner, Rodolfo Miranda, Emilio M. Pérez, Thomas Hermans, Cristina Flors, José I. Urgel, Nazario Martín, Fernando Martín and Tomás Torres. These lists evaluate scientists from around the world by two factors: the impact of citations throughout their career until the end of 2023 and by the impact of citations during the 2023 calendar year.

The database developed by scientists at Stanford University – the 'Stanford list' – provides standardized information on citations, h-index and a composite indicator that evaluates citations of articles in different authorship positions, all based on Scopus data. The score focuses on impact (citations) rather than productivity (number of posts).

We celebrate the research excellence of our centre's staff, with ten researchers being distinguished among the top 2% worldwide.
