Juan Carlos Roldao, Extraordinary PhD Award from Autonomous University of Madrid

Juan Carlos Roldao has received the 2021/2022 PhD honorary mention from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in the category "Condensed Matter, Nanoscience and Biophysics".

Juan Carlos' thesis, "Quantum-Chemical Treatment of Photophysical Properties and Processes in Organic Compounds for Applications in Energy and Materials Conversion", supervised by Prof. Johannes Gierschner (IMDEA Nanociencia) and Prof. Begoña Milián (University of Valencia) and tutored by Prof. Rodolfo Miranda (IMDEA Nanociencia and UAM) was defended in June 2022 at the Autonomous University of Madrid.

Juan Carlos Roldao is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Molecular Science (ICMol-University of Valencia).
