RESEARCH STAFF - Quantum NanoDevices Group
The Quantum NanoDevices Group is looking for a Research Staff for the project DIREQT.
General requirements:
- PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Materials Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of research experience after PhD, in advanced materials, nanotechnology, electronic devices, photonics or quantum technologies.
- At least two international postdoctoral research positions or appointments at universities, public research organisations or internationally recognised research centres.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
POSTDOCTORAL - Experimental Surface Chemistry/Nanotechnology
We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Materials Nanoengineering to carry out the following tasks:
- Fabrication of specific carbon-based nanomaterials in UHV.
- Investigation of their structural, electronic and magnetic properties by STM, STS and nc-AFM.
- Exploring reactivity under different chemical environments.
- Decoupling of the synthesized nanomaterials using thin insulating layers.
TECHNICIAL POSITION - Caixa impulse
We are looking for a candidate for a technical position to carry out the following functions:
- Synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles
- Evaluation of nanoparticles in lymphoblastoid models of neurodegeneration
- Assessment in primary lymphocytes the sensing capabilities of the nanosensors
TECHNICIAL POSITION - Proyect NANOCUBISM
A predoctoral researcher position is offered to work on the preparation, functionalization, and characterization of two-dimensional materials. The selected candidate will join a research project focused on the development and optimization of protocols for the exfoliation and chemical modification of layered materials, as well as on the study of their structural, vibrational, and electronic properties.
