Preparing your Presentation
All oral presentations will take place at the conference Room in the IFT building.
Presentations must be prepared in 4:3 format, as this is the projection screen format. Other formats will cause some re-scaling or deformation issues.
Laptop from the organization will be provided. You have to upload your presentations in advance, using the conference breaks to do so. If you prefer to use your laptop, you can do it, but you must ensure in advance that connections to the VGA works fine (adaptor from HDMI to VGA will be provided).
We strongly recommend testing your presentation in advance, at any break that you find before your talk. A person will assist you in whatever you might need.
SOME RULES INSIDE THE CONFERENCE ROOM
Filming presentations is not allowed in this conference.
It is strictly forbidden to enter into the conference room with any food or drinks, fruits, nuts, in general, anything that can cause filth in the facility or damage it.
All poster sessions will take place at IMDEA nanociencia building, on the left side after entering through the main entrance. There is access control. The responsible of security will open the door out of kindness, but will ask you to show your badge once you get in.
We recommend using A0 in vertical orientation. Larger formats will not fit in the presentation panels. If you have a poster exceeding 1 m width, it will have to be set in the wall.
Posters participating in a session must be put in the panels in advance. Mounting your posters will be rapid, so if you save a little time of your lunch it will be enough. All material required will be provided by the organization.
Poster locations will be signaled in the panels with the same presentation code as in the programme book.
