Our labs are equipped with wide range of pulse laser sources to follow photoinduced processes ranging from the 100 femtosecond to the microsecond timescales. The facilities include:
- Femtosecond transient absorption setups with 120 fs time resolution.
- OPO and NOPA setups for wide range wavelength tuning.
- Single channel detectors and high-resolution spectrometers.
- Time-correlated single photon counting set up.
We are also integrated with the Nanobiosystem department giving us access to all the state-of-the-art facilities for molecular biology to protein design tools and techniques for protein modification and synthesis including PCRs for cloning, incubators for cell grow, chromatography equipment (AKTA Purifier). Besides, we have access to facilities offered at IMDEA with different spectrophotometers and fluorometer and circular dichroism for protein folding characterization.
